Lunch with an Alum returns!

On Thursday, October 20 Sophia Rehmus (’10) joined students and faculty for lunch.  As part of a Fulbright scholarship, Sophie spent the past year living in and researching nine (of over 24) revived ghost towns in Spain, which in large part have taken the form of self-sustaining eco-communities.  She investigated, and discussed in her Academy presentation, how social well being, through close community, is possible, tangible, and essential to both mental health and human happiness. Sophie’s blog reflects her research:  https://constructedutopias.files.wordpress.com/2016/01/moi.jpg?w=312&h=312
